My Bedroom

I've been collecting small frames with details such as cutouts, carvings or odd shapes for many years now. I painted them all gloss black and printed out some of my favourite paintings. I tinted small areas of each one with acrylics. Some of the artists  - Frida Kahalo, Gottfried Helnwein, Disney's Haunted Mansion, Miguel Calderon, Caesareo Ruiz, Mark Ryden, Camille Rose Garcia, Gustav Adolf Mossa, Thomas Eakins, Edward Killingworth Johnson, Jose Guadalupe Posada, William Adolphe Bouguereau etc... and I am always adding! I got the late sixties headboard at the Sally Ann for $2!

  1. Wow! This is fabulous! I want a wall like this! I love how you've managed to get it to be so eclectic yet have a sense of unity. A really great idea; if I was allowed to put holes in my walls for pictures, I would do this!

    1. Thanks! The only downside is dusting them! It's not all that damaging - some are on super tiny nails, but most are stuck to the wall with poster putty.

    2. Our flat has textured wallpaper everywhere, so I'd be worried about damaging that. So far I've got a pile of fancy photo-frames on top of me "Witchy Box" - just waiting for replacement ink-cartridges to print out some nice photos of my cat and family.

  2. Wow! These are just sooo amazing! I want to have a wall like that in the future. Probably after I own my own home. I need to keep an eye out for little frames to do this with. I have seen many walls with tiny pictures, but I think yours is by far the best! It is very cohesive, everything works well together.
